Teacher Education Xfer Content Knowledge Students will demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of educational principles, theories, and best practices, and apply this understanding to design, implement, and assess effective instruction that meets the diverse needs of K–12 students.
Critical Thinking Skills Students will demonstrate critical thinking by creatively and systematically inquiring, analyzing, evaluating, and synthesizing educational information to make informed instructional and professional decisions that support effective and inclusive teaching practices.
Communication Skills Students will effectively develop, interpret, and express instructional and professional ideas through clear written, oral, and visual communication. These communication skills will be used to support classroom instruction, collaboration with colleagues and families, and professional practice aligned with expectations for teachers.
Personal Responsibility Students will demonstrate personal responsibility by making ethical decisions that reflect professional standards for educators and by recognizing how their choices and actions impact students, schools, and the broader educational community.
Social Responsibility Students will demonstrate social responsibility by applying intercultural competence and civic awareness to promote equity, inclusion, and respect in educational settings. They will engage effectively with diverse students, families, and communities to support learning within local, national, and global contexts.
