Communication Skills Communicate verbally with customers to understand the problems they are having, and prepare clear and accurate invoices.
Empirical and Quantitative Skills Calculate heat loss and gain; determine the size of a system that will be needed for a particular building.
Personal Responsibility Describe the different types of personal protective equipment, and effectively using the equipment. Describe the types of hazzards associated with HVAC systems, including overcharging.
Social Responsibility Intercultural competence, knowledge of civic responsibility, and the ability to engage effectively in regional, national, and global communities
Teamwork Work productively as a member of a construction team to ensure the efficient installation of HVAC systems.
Content Knowledge Explain the operation of refrigeration cycles and heat transfer; Read, draw and interpret control circuits; Identify components and operation of HVAC systems;
Physical Skills Perform measurements of the performance of HVAC systems; Use diagnostic equipment; Use tools and equipment for installing and servicing HVAC systesm;
