Senior Trips

Senior educational trips are a fantastic type of travel, and they are multiplying in popularity. For retirees and active seniors unfamiliar with this concept, seniors' adventures are a fun alternative to the typical beach or ski vacations. They offer participants a chance to explore a new destination, and simultaneously learn something new, master a new skill or develop a favorite hobby.

Whether you'd like to improve your photography skills by going on an expedition, explore the ruins of Mexico or Europe, or traverse the globe with a friend, there is an exceptional travel program for you! Come discover what hundreds of our senior travelers already know, aging is fun!

Since 1989, thousands of Senior Adults (ages 50+) in the Baytown and surrounding communities have joined us on our travel adventures around the globe. Tours vary from 7 to 15 days in length and are considered "soft adventure" trips that concentrate on destinations' culture, history, and natural attributes.

In 2021-2022, the senior travel program will journey to Canada, Europe, Costa Rica, the Netherlands, Alaska, and many locations throughout the United States.

Mission

Our mission is to inspire adults to learn, discover, and travel. Our learning adventures engage expert instructors, provide extraordinary access, and stimulate discourse and friendship among people for whom learning is the journey of a lifetime.

Feel the past come alive at Fort Ticonderoga, where 18th-century artillery line the outer walls and actors go through a soldier’s daily tasks. Connect with the local community in the Mad River Valley. Stop at Hildene, the former home of Robert Todd Lincoln, past chairman of the Pullman Company, and son of Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln.
